Darius’s Pov

I fought my way past the six guards and managed to escape the compound but I was injured and exhausted. The whole thing had been a trap just like I thought and I had walked right into it.

When I got back to the mansion Dante was waiting for me with news. He looked grim.

"The guards outside Soraya's room finally woke up" he said. "I questioned them."

"What did they say?"

"They said someone came up behind them and they felt a sharp pain in their necks. After that everything went black, they were drugged."

"Did they see who did it?"

"No. Whoever it was moved too...
