Soraya's Pov

I was walking through the mansion trying to get some fresh air when I heard voices coming from one of the sitting rooms. The door was partially open and I recognized the voices as pack members I had seen around but didn't really know.

I should have kept walking but something made me stop and listen.

"I'm telling you she's cursed," a woman's voice said. "Ever since she showed up things have been going wrong. First those incidents at the university, then the Patriarch's attacks, now pack members going missing and coming back as weapons."

"Maybe it's just coincidence" a male voice replied but he didn't sound convinced....
