While the wolf fought desperately against the control device I felt something else happening in my mind. Memories that I did not remember having started flooding through my consciousness like a dam breaking.

I saw a woman with long black hair and silver blue eyes exactly like mine. She was strapped to a metal table in a cold laboratory and she was screaming in terror and pain.
