We stayed behind the rocks for another hour while I tried to come up with a plan. The fortress looked impenetrable from where we were but I knew there had to be a way inside. There always was.

The mate bond was so strong now it was almost unbearable. I could feel Soraya like she was right next to me even though I knew she was inside those walls. The bond was pulling me forward and demanding I go to her right now.
