I moved toward the Patriarch again and this time I was not hesitating. He had to die. There was no other way to be free of him.

"So you chose violence after all," he said. "I knew you would."

"This is not about what you knew or did not know. This is about ending you."

"Then do it quickly. I am getting bored of this."
