Dante's Pov

I was sitting in Darius's office going through the files we recovered from the Patriarch's fortress when I found something that made my stomach turn. There were messages between the Patriarch and someone inside our pack and every single one of them was signed by Matteo.

I could not believe what I was reading but the evidence was right there in front of me. Matteo had been working with the Patriarch for years and nobody knew about it. He had been feeding the Patriarch information about our pack defenses and Darius's movements and everything else that could be useful to an enemy.
