Darius's Pov

When we got back to the mansion I called everyone together in the main hall. The fifteen volunteers who had agreed to come on the rescue mission gathered around and waited for me to speak. I could see the fear in some of their faces but they were all still here and that was what mattered.

"We found the fortress," I said. "It is in the Northern Ridge Mountains about three days from here. We leave in two hours."

"Three days?" one of the warriors named Marcus asked. "That does not give us much time before the full moon."

"I know. That is why we are leaving now...
