Alanis POV

I leave the room to allow Alpha Sebastian time to talk to Raul. I try not to listen to the discussion, but it gets louder as more wolves come into the house. Voices are raised, and tempers flare between the wolves of our pack. I hear them talking about Julian and her condition. I hope she is okay.

As I stand as close to the door as possible, trying to listen, I hear footsteps. I move away from the door and sit down on the bed, waiting for Sebastian to come in and tell me what will happen next. Be strong, Alanis, I tell myself as I wait...
