"Bring him in," I ordered.

" Come in," Davis called out and the door opened, revealing the beta of the attacked pack who to me seemed to be too timid to be a beta.

I scanned him with my eyes from his head to toe before looking directly at his face.

"Where were you on the day of the attack?" I asked him.

"I had gone to the lock heart pack, I was there to offer greetings to the alpha on his marriage, I was sent by the alpha of my pack." He replied.

"And when did you return?"
