Samantha's POV

I could not hold it in anymore, I was tired of being treated as their weak one. Kay's father words hurt me like hell, I could see him trying to defend me.

He really tried his best to defend me but then how could he win the argument when his father was right, I was weak and knew almost nothing.

"Maybe I had simply thought that it would be easy to become the Luna," I said to Cara.

"Nothing is easy." Cara whimpered and I sniffed back my tears too.

"I was a fool for thinking that we loving each other and being each other's mate was enough"...
