Ember's POV

"OMG, Ember are you ok?" Faye rushed out of the house to meet us outside the moment we alighted from the car, Rome too far behind.

"Well I'm still alive," I replied and she immediately drew me into a tight hug, looking relieved. To say I am surprised is an understatement. Faye hugging me felt weird.

"I was so worried," she sulked and I simply patted her back, not knowing what to say. It was nice knowing that there were people who cared about me. It shouldn't matter that much to me but after being rejected by my pack, ridiculed by them and almost killed I was glad...
