Katie's POV

"How much time do you think I'll spend with you?"

He adds, "Indefinitely," as if he knows exactly what would happen in the future. My jaw opens, but nothing comes out. You can't mean business.

"You belong to me. I own your life. I own all of your wants, feelings, and memories. You are now mine. He goes on to tell me that "your life as you knew it doesn't exist anymore," sounding like a little kid.

I understand what I have gotten myself into at this very moment. He anticipates that I will be here for more than a few days.
