Katie's POV

I was still crying, and sobbing loudly, with my body laid down, and my face on the floor, when I heard another knock. I jerked, and slowly looked up at the door, whilst trying to control my heart which was beating very fast.

I couldn't even say a word, as I was too scared and nervous. Was it Cephus again? Why won't he just let me be for once? What did I do to deserve this mess! I shouldn't have been born if I knew that my life would be so cruel.
