Chapter Fifty Five

Sharon slowed down as she made her way into the forest. She knew that she was probably not making the wisest decision.

She was almost instantly soaked and her clothes were already sticking to her body in an uncomfortable way.

She couldn’t wait to get home and soak in a nice hot bath. Her dad had promised that he would be home early so they could hangout and celebrate her birthday together.

She didn’t want to go out or do anything really fancy.

This was her first birthday without her Mom and she was still trying to figure out her emotions.
