Chapter Forty Six

Naomi had really not been expecting to see Daykan waiting when she got back. It looked like he hadn’t left that spot since she had driven off.

It was about 8:30pm. So he had been waiting for almost two hours; give or take.

Naomi turned off her car and slowly stepped out. She wasn’t sure how this conversation would go but she was emotionally drained.

It felt like within the past few hours, she had gone on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. All the ups and downs were starting to make her feel queasy.
