She felt a hand on her thigh, and she tried to look up as the pain intensified against her ribcage, and the band dug into her skin, causing her to grit her teeth as she threw her head back in pain.

"Take it easy," Damon whispered softly.

She shook her head. "I... just a minute, please," she mumbled.

"No, place you head back on the ground," Damon snapped.
