Another day of bullying again. At this point, Talia was already used to it. The bruises didn't hurt as much anymore, and she knew how to duck before they would land a fatal blow.
Talia dragged herself through the forest path, her backpack weighing heavy on her shoulders, not from books, but from everything else. The insults. The shoves. The laughter that followed her down the hallways.
