It was just two days since she came but Alina’s presence had changed everything for the worse, and Talia was slowly beginning to lose her mind.

Every time she turned a corner, she expected to see Alina. Every time a door opened, her heart jumped. Every time someone looked at her, she wondered if they knew.

It didn’t help that her stomach hurt as well. It was a dull cramp that started in the morning and got worse as the day went on. 

She ignored it. She had bigger problems than a stomachache.
