Students and Teachers alike were gathered at the grounds where the merchants and vendors had set up their wares. 

The place was buzzing with activity and lively chatter. Talia moved through the stalls slowly. The market was loud and crowded and her ribs ached from the binder wrapped tight around her chest. 

The wounds from the rogue attack still hurt despite the healing ointment. But she couldn't let anyone see her weakness.

She'd managed to slip away from Derek and the others. Told them she wanted to look at herbs for a project.

They'd believed her. Now she had an ample amount of time before they came looking....
