The helicopter was right infront of Sherry's house. She was bewildered , but even bewilderment was not the term to properly explain her expression.

" What's going on? "

She didn't ask anybody but wondered aloud.

There were nurses and paramedics getting down from the chopper. They were getting a stretcher out and also carrying their medical equipment boxes along towards Sherry's door.
