I was sitting on the tree, doing nothing. I had already texted Diana that I would be away from the pack for a while, so she didn't need to worry about me, and I would share my location with her in case I moved from my current one. I was thankful that she didn't nag me with the unnecessary question and gave me the space I needed.

I was still having a hard time believing what had happened.

Ivory was extremely silent after that. I knew she was more hurt compared to me because she had kept her expectation high. I would have kicked that jerk away...
