“Are you coming?”, I heard Angel’s voice and quickly walked inside the room where she had already arranged everything. I stood behind her to grab her tiny figure in my arms but before I could have done anything she turned around at the last moment and bumped her head against my chest.

She lifted her head and her eyes found mine. We kept staring at each other for a while until she raised her hand and caressed my cheek softly.

“I’m sorry.”, She whispered in a low tone.

I shook my head, grabbed her small and tiny hand, and kiss it. “Don’t be. I deserved that.”
