"...you know that's not possible" Mrs Grassi disagreed with whatever Matilda just said to her.

Her response had seem to offend Matilda, this wasn't the reply she was expecting from Mrs Grassi.

"I have said what I came here to say and also told you what to do" she paused, stared directly in Mrs Grassi' eyes. "...it's either you do it or wait until Jayden hears about the sin your husband's committed"

Hearing Matilda threaten her was very insulting and humiliating to her, tears welled up her eyes but she quickly blinked them away.
