VERONICA'S TEAHOUSE

"What anniversary are you celebrating?" I asked, touching the roses admiringly.

He rushed to my side and pulled out a chair for me, I sat down and thanked him with a polite smile -yeah, I can be polite if I want to.

I tilted my head, looking towards the door expectantly, since this is an anniversary I'm expecting more people to troop in to celebrate with him.

"Where are the others?" I asked, when I saw no one coming yet.

He followed my gaze and looked towards the door too.

"Others?" he asked me back, sounding confused.

"My staff said you're celebrating your anniversary, what anniversary?"...
