THE NEXT MORNING

It felt as if my head was wobbling as I woke up to the sound of Veronica's familiar voice giggling happily, I slowly sat up and rested my back against the wooden headboard.

I closed my eyes briefly as I tried to soothe the pain I was feeling and thankfully it's working.
