One would think the darker parts of the palace would be crawling with spiders, scorpions, snakes and all things eery and deadly. Well this darker part of the palace, to my surprise, was better than where I had first been put in. There were less bars and better furniture. There was at last a table and a chair.

Only dimly lit because of the single square shaped window that was too high up. At least it didn't have bars, just glass and an iron mesh net. It was obvious the reason was to prevent me from scouting the lands with my eyes and probably having an idea of an...
