Joan had settled down fully in her neighbourhood and some of her neighbours visited and offered her and her children cookies to welcome them.

She was grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness. She also went job hunting but it wasn't easy for her.

She had enough money to spend even if she didn't work but she still needed to keep herself busy and not stay idle.
