CHAPTER 47

"Lia!" Shantelle yelled with all her strength. The shout smacked her back into consciousness. She perceived a burnt smell and when she looked, she found Shantelle trying to put off fire.

Lia gasped in fright and quickly ran toward the kitchen but before she got there, Shantelle already put off the fire and she was breathing very fast and hard.

"You almost killed us Lia! If I hadn't perceived the burnt smell and followed my instinct to the kitchen, then this house and us would have been gone!" Shantelle screamed in anger and her body was shaking in fright.

Lia just stood in front of the burnt cooking...
