CHAPTER 43

"Lia? Are you okay?" Shantelle asked worriedly. She got on top of the bed and crawled up to meet Lia who was curled up on the bed.

She was shaking and she was covered with duvet. Shantelle touched Lia's forehead and flinched.

"Oh my goodness Lia, you're burning up. You have a fever." Shantelle gasped. Lia's eyes were closer but tears were rolling down her cheeks. Her teeth were making clattering sounds while her body shook as if she was cold.

"You have a fever Lia. Oh my...what do I do? Can you get up so we could go to the hospital?" Shan asked. She was so scared...
