That night, I hardly got any sleep. The fact that I’ve messed up enough so my parents have to step in kept constantly haunting me. The thought that I had disappointed them enough for them to step in, it was just too stressful.

I wanted to come to LA so I could prove to them that I was a hard worker and that I could pave my own path. That I didn’t need the Macaluson and Thornton names to be famous.
