Camilla had already slept off in the car by the time they returned to the mansion. Not wanting to wake her, Cyrus scooped her into his arms and carried her to her room, where he laid her on the bed.
He stared at her for a while. Even in her sleep, her furrowed brows easily gave off her feeling of fear and exhaustion.
