I stayed at the orphanage for a while, living a simple yet fulfilling life.
I loved the children—I loved playing with them, teaching them to read and draw, and seeing their joyful smiles. Every day, surrounded by their happy faces, I felt a deep sense of accomplishment. I was able to use my small strength to give these poor children a joyful childhood, helping their lives take a better turn.
This made me feel useful and allowed me to sleep peacefully each night.
Gradually, I forgot the pain of the past—I forgot about Alpha Derick, and I forgot about Veronica.
I truly loved it here, and I loved this way...
