“I understand your feelings, Elder Brown,” Elder Philip responded with a calm voice.

“What pains me is that Valtor thinks I’m against him, when in truth, I’m for him,” I added.

“He knows you’re for him,” Elder Philip replied. “And he’s fully aware of what’s at stake in having an incompetent Luna.”
