Ember POV
“Bring the biscuits,” I declared, already heading out.
Ivy dragged her feet behind me, yawning so wide I thought her jaw would pop.
“Luna Ember, I am tired,” she groaned.
“I know.” I stopped suddenly and turned to her with a wicked smile. “Get a bedsheet or something, because tonight mosquitoes will be feasting on you.”
In shock she declared. “Don’t tell me you’re staying overnight?”
“The earlier I shift, the better,” I said matter of factly.
“But what if I just stay with you for a while? Then, when you’re fully into training, I can leave and let you concentrate.”
“If I stay overnight, you stay overnight.”...
