“King Valtor,” he called.

“Is he cheating on her?” I asked immediately.

“Yes… he is cheating on both you and her,” he replied casually.

My heart skipped violently. For a split second, the world tilted. I shot him a sharp, murderous glare, and instead of apologizing, he burst out laughing.

“Relax,” he said between laughter. 

“Come on… be serious. What brought me into this conversation?” I snapped, clearly annoyed.
