I felt untouchable.

One moment, the guards were searching us.

“Humans aren’t allowed in the pack without authorization from the Alpha,” the guard spoke to us rudely.

I was still trying to maintain my calm. “I understand. But everyone knows me. I am —maybe we can be escorted to see the Alpha.”

“You have to turn around instantly,” he said. He drew out a sword, pointing it at me.

It must have been what triggered it.

I felt it from the inside. It was like a sealed dam breaking. I felt my chakras opening. But the guard was looking at me like he could see my insides.
