The hoofprints in the sand told me we were hours behind.
Kaia was important in this mission and I couldn’t let Alpha Kael kill her all because his dying sister requested it.
“We have to rescue her,” I told Aliyah.
But Aliyah was not still buying my idea. “Why are you so sure Alpha Kael has taken her?”
“Trust me,” I replied, mounting Aresia. I stretched my hand towards her. “Come.” I said. “We have no time to waste.”
