I was standing in front of the mirror in Bram’s bathroom. I blinked three times and swallowed. My period started today. Which meant I was not pregnant. I should be happy if I was single but I was not.

I was planning to brush my teeth when I felt something coming out of me. I checked my panties and there it was, blood. I picked up my toothbrush, put some toothpaste on, then shook my head. I turned to the door when I heard a knock.
