A day had passed after Ethan kissed me at the gala, and for unknown reasons, the words he said to me after my tongue happened to follow the rhythm of his. Gosh! I was such an idiot for letting it happen in the first place. I barely even knew how to concentrate at work because for unknown reasons, too, I hadn't been feeling well since after the gala. I felt nauseous every now and then, slight headache, mild body pain… I just felt far from completely healthy.
