Angela finally arrived at the school premises. It was barely morning, and it felt like a long day already.

If she had the chance, if she had her way, she probably would've stayed home for the day. The thought of planning to fake an illness over a phone call with the principal crossed her mind, but then she decided against it, concluding that it wasn't worth it.
