Two young pups ran to Nathan, shouting his name at the top of their lungs, but he ignored them, cornering to a house. They ran after him, waving their kites for him to notice them.

He cornered towards another house and sped off down the alley. They ran to the corner and couldn’t see him from afar, even with their wolf’s vision.

“He ran off?” one of them thought aloud, their hearts sunken that Mr. Nathan didn’t want to play with them.
