The night was clear and cool, the sky studded with countless stars that sparkled like diamonds. The moon stood large and bright in the sky, casting its silvery light on the world below. It was the sixth night in a row that Serena had been hunting.

Serena ran through the forest every night, using every spark of energy to burn it in the thick undergrowth. She roamed the dark woods, scratching for rabbits in the leaves and enjoying the cloudless nights. The howling of the moon became her daily ritual, a call of freedom and pain at the same time.
