Does this mean that boss has a girlfriend? Why did he make fun of me by kissing me?

Why? This is so painful, I must say, it's really heartbreaking but why am I hurt by the way?

It seems I was expecting so much from him, this is why he didn't come to work.

"Hey Dorothy, you aren't saying anything at all?" One of them asked.

"Oh, it's nice that finally we now know boss has a girlfriend but why is he hiding her?" I said to them trying to blend in the conversation so they won't know I am getting hurt by it.
