"Mom,, meet Oliver Weiss, my boss at work and my boyfriend after work." Dorothy introduced smiling over it.

"You mean the boss that stresses life out of you when you come to the hospital to complain?" Her mom asked and I knew, I have lost the slightest chance I stand to win her over.

I looked at Dorothy and she faked a laugh saying, "Oh mom, that's just the past, let's eat, my stomach is rumbling already, are you both not starving?"

"It's fine, I invited you for dinner so come sit, let's eat."
