It had been a week since Alpha Calle or Beta Degen crossed paths with me in the packhouse. I was not complaining though that finally their focus was shifted to other stuff. Away from the Alpha's sight was a breather after that serious—even lethal—training in the woods.

I couldn't forget how shocked I was the next morning when I woke up in my own bed dressed in a fresh cotton top and pants. I wasn't sure who brought me to my room since the staff that regularly attended to me had no idea, either.
