Lazar’s POV

When I left the house earlier tonight, I couldn’t help but get the feeling of being followed. After a while, though, it stopped. I couldn’t be focused on an imaginary stalker because a lot was happening tonight. Word had finally gotten to Trevor that I had Anita. I heard that he was outraged and wanted her immediately.

It didn’t take long for him to call. I made him call up to three times before picking up.

“You coward! How dare you take her?” He yelled on the phone. “After everything you’ve taken?”
