Alice knows how much Alex yearns for his mother's love. He often reads his Dad's red diary because he feels close to his Mom; he still spends hours sitting next to his Mom's grave.

He still dreams about her, that she is caressing his hair when he is sleeping. Alex always says that he can feel the presence of his mother sometimes.
