"That's my daughter," he said to us, his voice clearly revealing his feeling. He could barely string the words together.
I almost let it out, but my father gave me the look. He didn't want me to act like I knew her.
"Can I have a look?," I asked him.
"Sure," he said, giving me the picture.
My hands kept shaking as I held her picture in my hands. Another reminder that I had lost a big part of me. I couldn't get hold of myself anymore, so I excused myself. I walked straight to a pavement and wept.
