ERIN's POV
The homeowner's meeting just ended. Because I was stressed, I thought of going to the clubhouse of the south ridge village.
I was walking around there.
"Ed, I'm busy," I heard a woman near me say. She was in front of her car while holding a phone to her ear. I know her, Alexandra. The owner of Epitome beauty products. We're a neighborhood, almost a few houses between us then in Mulberry.
I was there before I moved to Magnolia with Syd. I'm back home. I'll walk since it's too near to our house. Also, so that I can exercise as well.
On the way home, I could not help but look around. I'm the only one who is walking beside the roadway. It's also a bit hot. I was too lazy to drive since it's just around the corner.
"Wife?" I was distracted by someone who called behind me. I don't know why I turned around; that's what Syd called me like that.
I saw Syd get out of the car before approaching me.
"Why are you walking here?"
I looked at him. What's so bad about walking home?
"It's near, Hun. I'm doing another exercise," I said.
"Let's go," he said and pulled me into the car.
I haven't done anything yet; I wish I still wanted to swim.
We got home, and I quickly dressed up. I was surprised to see Syd leaving again.
"Are you leaving?" I asked; he just nodded.
"Yes, Hun. They're looking for me in the office."
He left quickly. Looks like he forgot something? He had not yet left the house, so I took the key.
I have a hunch that he will not be going to work.
I hurried to the parking lot and grabbed one of my Ducati cars. When I got out, I saw his car turning.
So I followed him carefully. I changed my way not to notice that I was following him. If in the office he goes, we will meet there.
I quickly reached LA FOURNIER COMPANY. I parked at the end before entering their company, apart from the airport. He also owns a car business.
I even hid in a pole to see him coming. I waited for a few hours, but no Syd came. Am I saying that he has another woman! My blood immediately warmed up, and I decided to leave.
I'll wait for him at home; I'll talk to him there.
I didn't go home, and I first went to the Dreame cafe. The starry is still closed. I stayed there.
"Ma'am, this is your hot choco," a waitress said with a smile on her lips. I looked at her and asked.
"Miss? Where's Trina?" I asked her.
"She's not here, Ma'am. She's just leaving."
I even looked at the woman's name.
'Alondra'
"Okay," I said before taking the hot choco; I was not in the mood to have coffee. I want to calm down. Since I hate Syd, where did he go?
I immediately called Sab, and the witch ignored me! I would have replied, but she texted immediately.
"Girl, I'm here at church! Please, call later," she said in the text. It was as if it had poured hot water on me at what she said.
"Why are you pretending to be an angel?" I tease.
"Gaga!" she said.
I just laughed even though I couldn't see her.
I got home, but I saw Syd, he was standing by the window to my great surprise.
"Where had you been?" he asked me before facing me.
I do not know what to answer, and I do not want to say I follow him. He might even get angry.
"A-ah, Sab cheered, Hun."
Go, Erin! Improve your denial.
I thought he would ask more questions, but I was surprised when he pushed me closer to him. He kissed me on the neck. I was awkward, so I quickly avoided him, which surprised him.
"I-I'm sticky, Hun," I denied. I went straight to CR. I rested for a while before I took a shower.
______________________________________________
I fell asleep last night; I did not realize I did not even talk to Syd. He left early, said the maid. So I figured out how or he would get caught.
I got to their company. I haven't asked people yet, and I want him to be surprised when I arrive.
I got to the floor of his office. When I entered his office, I was shocked to see no Syd there. So I just thought to fiddle with it. Maybe I can find some evidence.
But I was disappointed, I went to his secretary.
"Ma'am, Erin. Sir Syd is not here. He has not been here for a few days. Our clients will look for him," explained his secretary.
Where's the fuck is he? Are you kidding me, Syd? Suddenly my blood heats up. But it's just more twitter. I should have known something he was not telling me. He has been like this for a few weeks and removed even at night. I don't want to think badly of him, but if he does this? Who will not be going to doubt?
I came home with a doubt in my mind. I rummaged through Syd's belongings, but I found nothing but papers. I tried to call him, but nothing's worked.
.
"Maybe there's a mistress?" Sab asked. I was suddenly nervous. Why is it like this? We have noticed that Nadia often dislikes Trina and her for a few days now.
"Don't tell me, Nadia is the one that you think is your husband's mistress?"
I did not answer. I don't want to think, but I can't help it. What if I am right? Is Nadia my husband's sidekick? Suddenly my blood boiled, and I hurried home. When I got home, Syd was not there. Argh! I feel like a fool thinking without a clue. I will catch you too, Syd. Don't let me know your mistress because I will tie you both.
I felt nervous when I suddenly thought of them, and I couldn't! I stood up abruptly, so Sabbey asked me.
I have not been able to answer her yet. I precede by Twitter, and I got home. But Syd is not there yet.
"Manang? Hasn't Syd come home yet?" I asked her.
"Not yet, Ma'am," she replied.
I went straight to the bedroom. After I got dressed, I lay down on the bed. Suddenly my tears flowed. I don't know why do I feel this way? There seems to be something wrong, but I am afraid to see the truth. I tried to contact Syd again, and I was shocked when I heard his ringtone in the room. I immediately stood up and saw Syd just scorching in our room.
"Wife ..."
He immediately kissed me on the lips, I checked him. But I did not see a trace. Great hide!
"Where had you been?" I will ask.
"In my office," he replied while looking at me.
"I was in your office, and I don't see you there, is that true? Where had you been?" I asked again.
He breathed as if disgusted.
"Do you doubt on me?" he asked.
"Should I doubt it, Syd?"
I need to know the truth. If it hurts, it's up to Syd, as long as I know where he is and what he is hiding from me.
"Nothing, Erin! Nothing!" he says.
"Are you shouting?" I asked calmly again.
He took a deep breath before speaking. He approached me.
"Wife, sorry. I'm just tired, and you have nothing to doubt me. I love you," he said and kissed me.
I do not know why I am convinced by what he said. All I knew was that my body was on the bed while our lips were kissing.
