I quietly follow her down the stairs and over to the front door. Lea makes a sudden halt in front of the main door to the pack house and I duck beside a huge vase in the last second. I pray the lighting in this section of the house is dark enough to not have her seen me. I’m trying to make as little noise as possible and I don’t want to spook her off. I want to know where she is going and if I’m going to need to protect her or kill someone.

She quietly opens the front door and without looking back slinks outside the pack house....
